Monique Lhuillier Designs Anastasia Steele’s Wedding Gown In “Fifty Shades Freed”

Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele dons a custom-lace wedding gown and veil by Monique Lhuillier, renowned bridal, ready-to-wear and accessories designer, in "Fifty Shades Freed", the all-new installment of the Fifty Shades of Grey series.

Known for her romantic glamour and modern elegance, Monique Lhuillier brilliantly captures Anastasia’s alluring beauty and vulnerability in this design. The long sleeve, off-the-shoulder, dégradé Chantilly-lace tulle-sheath gown with open illusion back and trail of lace covered buttons exudes femininity and sophistication. A Cathedral-length tulle veil with appliqués of Chantilly lace adds astonishing glamour for Anastasia’s grand entrance.

In keeping with the essence of her brand, Monique’s design evokes an enchanting and whimsical, yet sophisticated vision by weaving together sensuous and modern elements. The classic, ethereal and effortless silhouette of the dress topped with the elegantly embellished veil is distinctly Monique Lhuillier.

I was so delighted to be asked to design an iconic wedding dress for the character of Anastasia Steele for this climactic chapter of the Fifty Shades of Grey series,” said Monique. “Further building on the success of the show-stopping look I designed for the masquerade ball in Fifty Shades Darker, it was a wonderful experience to be involved in this production. Once the wedding gown hits the big screen, I know this timeless design will live forever.”

The Monique Lhuillier wedding gown and veil designed for Anastasia and Christian’s wedding can now be seen in the trailer for “Fifty Shades Freed.” The feature film will be released in Philippine cinemas February 7, 2018.

Worst Vacation Ever: 6 Tips For Backpackers By The Montero Brothers

Have you ever wondered why some of your tripsare never as perfect as planned? From delayed flights, cancelled hotel reservations, bad insect bites to the worst hangovers, at one point or another, some things can go awry. In the newest Discovery Channel show Worst Vacation Ever, celebrity brothers Troy and KC Montero boldly relive the worst and most unbelievable holiday travel anecdotes to ever grace the internet. Premiering this January 29 at 8:10 pm, each episode starts with the brothers and their team searching through real online reviews of actual holidays that other people have experienced. From the strange, funny, disgusting or downright absurd, the brothers seek to recreate these situations to see if these vacations really are as bad as some people paint them out to be.

Combining their learnings from years and years worth of travel, brothers Troy and KC bring to the show some travel pointers which backpackers should take heed:
  • Eat at your own risk – What is travelling without trying out local delicacies? Well, you can definitely eat anything and everything you want, but better be sure you know what’s in it or if it’s even safe. You don’t want to end up spending the rest of your days in your hotel room or worse, forgetting what really happened.
  • Drink only until you cannot – Drinking is fun and exciting, but drinking too much can cause you trouble and put you in tight situations especially in a foreign country. You don’t want to pass out after doing silly things you might regret your whole life.Better get your liver ready!
  • Transport – Whilst we probably don’t have the ideal mode of transportation, experiencing other countries’ very own bamboo trains, tuktuks, etc., can definitely be a lot different and fun. Just always keep an eye on your belongings (and your stops, too!) and be ready to putyour haggling prowess to use whenever necessary.
  • Don’t be a stranger – Go out of your comfort zone, be friendly. You’re jet setting to a new land (might be with a different native tongue from yours) with different culture, so forget the initial transition and feel comfortable by making friends. Get your groove on!
  • Expect less, experience more– Different travelers, different personalities, hence, different experiences. Remember, what may be a bad experience for others can be the highlight of your trip. So while it’s best to read online reviews, give yourself the chance to explore and discover things on your own.
  • You’re out and ready, go all in – For sure, you have your itinerary on hand composed of proper timings and schedules of when and where you should go. Although this is ideal, do not marry your plans and allow leniency and flexibility. Remember, you’ll never have this moment again, so go for it!
There are plenty of vacation shows with hosts having a blissful, wonderful time.
In Worst Vacation Ever, KC and Troy seek to debunk some myths and prove how, sometimes, your worst vacations can still turn out to be your best. Be part of the adventure and tune in to Discovery Channel on January 29 at 8:10 P.M.!

The combination of big battery and big display is the best for me – practical and less strenuous! Great for catching and enjoying moments.”

Gerald Anderson is the latest brand ambassador to join the growing list of top personalities and celebrities endorsing the ZenFone brand. In fact, by some fate, Gerald immediately followed the footsteps of ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 4 Selfie Series Brand Ambassador, Bea Alonzo.

When asked about his thoughts on endorsing the same brand as Bea Alonzo, and the possibility of one day working closely with her, “I just feel so honored to represent such an amazing and innovative brand like the ASUS ZenFones. I’m excited to be a part of the family and was impressed with the work they did with Bea. I’m exhilarated to see my amazing campaign with ASUS.”

Hiyas Books Help Kids to Be Helpful and Healthy

Nowadays, the internet has a huge impact on children.  Nevertheless, parents still have other tools they can use in teaching values to their kids. A helpful tool is a good book that children will enjoy reading. But with so many children’s books available in the bookstores, it can be a challenge for parents to choose the right book.

Hiyas, OMF Literature’s imprint for children’s books, assists parents by publishing books that help children form healthy habits and grow in Godly character. Plus, the books are fun to read! Hiyas offers a wide selection of books on different topics, ranging from books on values and health to Bible stories and activity books.

A popular Hiyas series is the Dee the Bee series written by Joyce Piap-Go and illustrated by Maria Cristina Sison. The series helps kids develop positive values, stay healthy, and take care of the environment. In Bee Helpful, the seventh title in the series, Dee the Bee teaches young kids practical life skills they will need when they grow up, including lessons on how to be diligent, independent, and kind. Dyaran! Ang Kambal na Hebigat! (Tada! The Heavyweight Twins!) by pediatrician and writer Luis “Tito Dok” Gatmaitan introduces the topic of weight management and good eating habits to children. The twenty-first title in the bestselling “Mga Kuwento ni Tito Dok (Stories of Uncle Doc)” series, Ang Kambal na Hebigat  not only addresses obesity in children but also gives tips on how parents can help their kids have proper weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The book features the fun illustrations of Mike Amante.

Dirty ’Yan, Judy Ann! (That’s Dirty, Judy Ann!), is the second title in “Oki Dok!”, the new health series by Luis “Tito Dok” P. Gatmaitan specially written for younger kids.
