Tawag Ng Tanghalan’s Myko Manago releases his first digital single, STUCK.

Myko Mañago is a jaw-dropping vocal sensation. Myko’s vocal performance is captivating to the soul and soothing to the heart. A three-time defending champion of ABS-CBN’s highly rated Tawag Ng Tanghalan show (an amateur singing competition in the Philippines that airs daily in Its Showtime), he easily became a household favorite in every Filipino home both in the Philippines and abroad. A gifted singer since childhood, Myko cites the Filipino Pop and R&B band, South Border, as his major influence. His musical influence also includes Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Sam Smith, and Michael Buble.

San Francisco, CA Executive Producer Discovers the Golden Voice

In between TV and radio appearances, Myko also produces his own YouTube vlogs by singing internationally inspired Pop and R&B musical covers and posts them on his personal channel.

As fate has it, these YouTube videos caught the attention of SF based RJA Productions LLC, and immediately called their local team in the Philippines to get in touch with the hottest new singing sensation. To the words of CEO Rosabella Jao-Arribas:

“Myko has a golden voice… it’s very, very soothing… gave me goosebumps when I first heard him sing. I just knew I found a real gem. The world needs to applaud such talent.”

Myko Launches His First Digital Single, “Stuck”

In search for his debut album’s carrier song, RJA Productions LLC chanced upon an incredible song called “Stuck” from Robster Evangelista, a famous young composer who has a string of hit songs under his sleeve. Arranged by seasoned guitarist and musical director Jun “JT” Tamayo and produced by veteran label executive Reck Cardinales, “Stuck” got its final nod for its commercial release just recently. The music video is now also available in YouTube.

“Stuck” is a nice, easy-listening type of song reminiscent of the coolness of Bruno Mars’ “Just The Way You Are”.  It is about how true love works in mysterious ways, leading you to someone who is destined for you… with whom you will be happily “stuck” with for the rest of your life. If you are one of those people who’s having a hard time expressing your true feelings, this song will resonate with you! This is the best song to get “stuck” with…especially on a traffic jam!  Your destiny might be listening to the same song, somehow, somewhere!

Stuck is published by RJA Productions LLC and  distributed in all digital platforms by Curve Entertainment.

A Regular Guy with an Extraordinary Voice and Dream

Just like anyone else, Myko enjoys various sports including badminton, swimming, basketball, and volleyball. He also loves eSports using Moba games, first person shooting games, and MMORPG games.

He grew up with very supportive parents. His Dad is from Iloilo and his Mom is from his current hometown, Cavite City. He grew up loving music and started to explore his newfound love for singing at an early age of 9.

His jaw-dropping performance at ABS-CBN’s Tawag Ng Tanghalan show is not his only celebrity stint. He also starred in the following TV and radio appearances:

Diz Iz It daily contestant - singing competition (GMA 7)
Wowowin Wil to Win - semi-finalist (GMA 7)
Unang Hirit - viral guest performer of the day segment (GMA 7)
Tee Radio Station - online radio guest

Myko dreams to become a global sensation someday. With his incredible talent, perseverance, and the support of many people - this dream is definitely not that far off… especially with an extraordinary voice like his. As one would say, “It’s just a matter of time…” Looks like we are (gladly) “stuck” with this hottest new Pop and R&B singer from Cavite City. We can’t seem to have enough of his golden voice!

You, you who has smiled when you’re in pain

You who has soldiered through the profane
They were distracted and shut down

So why, why would you talk to me at all
such words were dishonorable and in vain
their promise as solid as a fog

and where was your watchman then

I’ll be your keeper for life as your guardian
I’ll be your warrior of care your first warden
I’ll be your angel on call, I’ll be on demand
The greatest honor of all, as your guardian

you, you in the chaos feigning sane
You who has pushed beyond what’s humane
Them as the ghostly tumbleweed

And where was your watchman then

I’ll be your keeper for life as your guardian
I’ll be your warrior of care your first warden
I’ll be your angel on call, I’ll be on demand
The greatest honor of all, as your guardian

now no more smiling mid crestfall
No more managing unmanageables
No more holding still in the hailstorm

Now enter your watchwoman

I’ll be your keeper for life as your guardian
I’ll be your warrior of care your first warden
I’ll be your angel on call, I’ll be on demand
The greatest honor of all, as your guardian

"Guardian", part of the album "Havoc and Bright Lights"

Black Eyed Peas - The Apl Song

Lapit mga kaibigan at makinig kayo
Ako’y may dala-dalang, balita galing sa bayan ko
Nais kong ipamahagi ang mga kwento
Ang mga pangyayaring nagaganap
Sa lupang pinangako

[English Translation:]
(Come closer my friends and everyone listen
I brought news from my homeland
I’ll tell you how we live and what goes on
From my beloved homeland.)

Every place got a ghetto this is my version
Check it out…
Listen closely yo, I got a story to tell
A version of my ghetto where life felt for real
Some would call it hell but to me it was heaven
God gave me the grace, amazin’ ways of living
How would you feel if you had to catch your meal?
Build a hut to live and to eat and chill in.
Having to pump the water outta the ground
The way we put it down utilizing what is around
Like land for farming, river for fishing
Everyone helpin’ each other whenever they can
We makin’ it happen, from nothin’ to somethin’
That’s how we be survivin’ back in my homeland

[Chorus]

Yo, its been a while but…
I been back home to my homeland, (check it out) to see what’s going on
Man it feels good to be back at home
And it’s been a decade, on the journey all alone
I was fourteen when I first left Philippines
I’ve been away half my life, but it felt like a day
To be next to my mom with her home cooked meal
Meant I felt complete, my emotions I feel!
Now life has changed for me in the U.S
But back at home man, life was a mess…
I guess sometimes life’s stresses gets you down
On your knees, oh brother I wish I could have helped you out…

When a Child is Born

A ray of hope flitters in the sky
A tiny star lights up way up high
All across the land dawns a brand new morn
This comes to pass when a child is born

A silent wish sails the seven seas
The winds have changed whisper in the trees
And the walls of doubt crumble tossed and torn
This comes to pass when a child is born

A rosy hue settles all around
You've got the feel you're on solid ground
For a spell or two no-one seems forlorn
This comes to pass when a child is born

And all of this happened
Because the world is waiting
Waiting for one child
Black, white, yellow, no one knows
But a child that would grow up and turn tears to
laughter
Hate to love, war to peace
And everyone to everyone's neighbour
Misery and suffering would be forgotten forever

It's all a dream and illusion now
It must come true, sometimes soon somehow
All across the land dawns a brand new morn
This comes to pass when a child is born

All across the land dawns a brand new morn
This comes to pass when a child is born

When a child is born

The Song

This period is referred to in the song Twelve Days of Christmas. Twelve Days of Christmas is a traditional Christmas song, or Christmas Carol. The Twelve Days of Christmas are the days from December 25 to January 6 or the Twelfth Night. The date of the song's first performance is not known, though it was used in European and Scandinavia traditions as early as the 16th century.

The 12 Days of Christmas" is in a sense an allegory. Each of the items in the song represents something significant to the teachings of the Catholic faith. The hidden meaning of each gift was designed to help Catholic children learn their faith. The song goes, "On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me…" The "true love" mentioned in the song refers to God Himself. The "me" who receives the presents refers to every baptized person. i.e. the Church.

1st Day   ---
The partridge in a pear tree is Christ Jesus upon the Cross.

2nd Day  ---  The "two turtle doves" refers to the Old and New Testaments.

3rd Day  ---  The "three French hens" stand for faith, hope and love.

8th Day   ---    The "eight maids a milking " reminded children of the eight beatitudes listed in the Sermon on the Mount.

9th Day   ---    The "nine ladies dancing" were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit found in Galatians: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.

10th Day ---    The "ten lords a-leaping" represents the Ten Commandments.

11th Day ---   The "eleven pipers piping" refers to the eleven faithful apostles.

12th Day ---    The 'twelve drummers drumming" were the twelve points of belief expressed in the Apostles' Creed: belief in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, made man, crucified, died and arose on the third day, that he sits at the right hand of the father and will come again, the resurrection of the dead and life everlasting.

“Footprints In The Sand” – The Story behind the Poem

Margaret’s boyfriend Paul proposed. While happy, she was hesitant. She and her boyfriend seemed so different. They decided to take a little walk along the beach to discuss marriage and its importance. When they reached the far end of the beach and were about to begin their return journey, Margaret glanced down and noticed that their footprints had washed out to the sea. Turning to Paul she said, ” Well, if our married life is to be like this, we don’t stand much of a chance.”
Paul replied, “When things are tough for me, you will help me – and when things are tough for you, I’ll help you.”
They continued walking, until Margaret glanced down again and saw that only one set of footprints had washed out to sea. Again, Margaret suggested that their life together didn’t appear to have much of a future. This time Paul responded by gently lifting her up in his arms and carrying her along the beach. Finally, he set her down and said, “Margaret, I want to impress upon you that when life is so bad that we can’t seem to help each other, God will carry us.” Then, pointing to the single set of footprints the two of them had just created, Paul added, “If you just looked at the set of tracks we just made, you couldn’t tell that I carried you – but I did.”
Margaret found his words and the thoughts behind them very beautiful. that night she couldn’t sleep, so she got up and wrote these words:
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. “Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you’d walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why when I needed You most You would leave me.”
The Lord replied, “My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”

This beautiful piece, printed time and time again, has a love story all it’s own. She called the piece “Footprints” Today, “Footprints” is one of the most widely distributed inspirational pieces in existence. It can be found on plaques, cards and jewelry. Its power lies in its message – the message of the greatest love of all. And yes they did marry.
Love – is an eternal source.

A Million Roses for the World

Lyrics:

We dream of a world at peace.
We dream of a world of love.
We dream of a world at prayer.
A world at peace, in love with God!
I have a mother in heaven
I have a queen in my heart.
My mother's name is Mary
Blessed handmaid of God!
We pledge to pray her rosary
That peace may reign supreme
A million roses of prayer
A million roses for peace!
Ave Maria!
Gratia Plena!
Viva Maria!
Viva Madre Mia!
