The Volcanoes whip UAE during the Asian 5 Nations Rugby Championship

Congratulations to the Philippine Volcanoes for winning their game against the UAE during the Asian 5 Nations Rugby Championship, Saturday May 18, 2013 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila, Philippines.
The Volcanoes, the Philippine rugby team came up with a brave, battling game to smother the United Arab Emirates, 24-8, held at Rizal Memorial Stadium Saturday night. The Volcanoes whip UAE, keep its spot in the HSBC Asian Five Nations elite group at least until next year.
The Volcanoes, who made their debut in the division this year, won for the first time after dropping matches against champion Japan, Hong Kong and Korea in their first three assignments.
This proved that Filipinos can play rugby. The Volcanoes  are a force in Asia being in the top five and I really believe that we deserve to be here. The victory installed the Philippines as No. 4 in the continent.
The night with about 5,700 spectators , the biggest attendance ever in a rugby game held in the Philippines showed up and the majority of them expatriates who cheered both sides.
Thanks FILA Philippines for giving us, tri-media people the chance to witness the first, live great championship rugby game here in  our country! This is one experience of being inside the game, with full of excitement and cheers!
