Veteran MIB field agent Agent J learns that Agent K's life and the fate of Earth are at stake. He must time-travel to 1969 to stop an alien criminal named Boris from assassinating K and changing the history of the planet, travelling back from the future to 1969 to team up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to stop the alien, while also facing the 24-hour time limit before he will be trapped in the past forever. An alien criminal kills the young Agent K in 1969, altering the timeline, changing the Agency and placing the Earth in danger. Veteran Agent J (Will Smith) must travel back in time to 1969 to before the murder and work with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save him, the Agency, the Earth and humanity itself.
Men in Black 3 is an upcoming American 3D science fiction comedy film starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. It will be released as the sequel to Men in Black and Men in Black II on May 25, 2012, ten years after its predecessor, and fifteen years after the first film.
MIB3 also stars Josh Brolin as Young Agent K; Emma Thompson as Agent O, agent of the MIB in present day and a secretary in the 1960s; Alice Eve as Young Agent O; Nicole Scherzinger as Lily Poison, an antagonist; Jemaine Clement as the main antagonist; Boris Bill Hader as Andy Warhol ; Keone Young as Mr. Wu; and Yuri Lowenthal as Knuckles (voice). Barry Sonnenfeld returning as director, and Steven Spielberg returning as executive producer. The film is the third entry in the Men in Black film series which is based on the Malibu / Marvel comic book series The Men in Black by Lowell Cunningham.
